A massive scroll flew over the land. It carried a curse.
📖Based on Zechariah 5:2
He lifted his eyes and saw it.
A roll — a scroll — flying.
Not carried. Flying. Moving on its own through the air over the land.
What seest thou? The angel asked.
A flying roll. The length of it twenty cubits, the breadth ten cubits.
Thirty feet long. Fifteen feet wide.
Enormous. Impossible to miss. Not a document anyone could fold and pocket.
This was the size of judgment. The scale of a verdict meant to cover a whole land.
This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth.
Not one city. Not one nation.
The whole earth.
Two crimes named specifically.
Every one that stealeth shall be cut off on this side.
Every one that sweareth falsely shall be cut off on that other side.
The scroll had two sides. Two judgments moving in two directions simultaneously.
Covering all of it.
And then the specificity of how it executed its curse.
I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name.
Into the house.
Not delivered from a distance. Not a public execution in the square.
The scroll entered. Came inside. Found the person where they lived.
And it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it.
Both the timber and the stones thereof.
Everything.
A judgment that does not stop at the walls of a house.
A curse that doesn't leave until nothing is left.
The flying scroll moved over the whole earth.
Silent. Patient. Reading addresses.
Scripture — Zechariah 5:2
"And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits."

Some judgments are specific. They know the address. They know the name.
›
The scroll flew over the whole earth because the whole earth needed to know it was possible.
