They prophesied for three and a half years. The world hated them for it.
📖Based on Revelation 11:3
Everyone had an opinion about them.
The media called them extremists. The government called them destabilizing. The street crowds called them crazy.
But no one could touch them.
They had tried.
Multiple times. Multiple methods. The fire that came from their mouths — not metaphorical — actual fire, actual death for anyone who attempted to harm them.
They had shut the sky. No rain for three and a half years in the region where they preached.
They had turned water to blood. Called plagues down.
As often as they desired.
And for twelve hundred and sixty days, they preached.
Clothed in sackcloth. Not robes. Not the dress of kings.
The rough fabric of mourning. Of warning. Of people who had no interest in being impressive, only in being clear.
The message was always the same: repent, the judgment is here, God is real, and the beast you are following is not.
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
When their testimony was finished, the beast from the pit was allowed to kill them.
And their bodies lay in the street of the great city.
For three and a half days.
The people of the earth rejoiced. They sent gifts to each other.
Because these two had tormented them.
Not with violence. With truth.
Then the breath of life entered them.
They stood on their feet.
And the great fear fell on those who saw it.
Come up hither. A voice from heaven.
And they ascended in a cloud while their enemies watched.

The two witnesses are not popular. Truth rarely is. But they cannot be stopped until their word is complete.
›
The world celebrates their death. Heaven secures their resurrection.
