Bible Stories of Sin, Pride and Consequence

The Bible does not hide the failures of its people. Cain, Saul, David, Judas and Peter all stumble in these pages, and the results are written down plainly. These stories look at pride, greed, fear and disobedience, and at what followed each choice. Some chapters are hard to read, and a few deal with violence and abuse, so use care with younger children. Each story stays close to the verse and ends with a reflection on what we can learn. Pastors and group leaders will find them useful for teaching on repentance, leadership and honesty. If you want a story about failure and what came after, start with Peter by the Fire.
